Two further super bands have confirmed their participation at Rockavaria: the Swiss heavy rockers GOTTHARD and the Scottish-American alternative rock instance GARBAGE surrounding Shirley Manson ('Only Happy When It Rains') who will bring their new album along. Not only the Rockavaria will go into its second round in 2016 but the Rockavaria band contest will also take place in the new year. Newcomer bands can apply again from now until 31st January 2016. Requirement: since Rockavaria is a festival in Munich, regional talents shall be in the focus of support. Thus, the bands who apply have to be situated in a circuit of 200km of Munich.

ANDREAS BOURANI is a German artist who could celebrate countless success by now. With the publication of his second album ‘Hey’ and the single ‘Auf uns’, which was released a little bit earlier, he managed the breakthrough finally. For example, the single ‘Auf uns’ was chosen by the German television channel ARD as song for their reports about the football world championship in Brazil in 2014. During those weeks, the song has become a real hymn.
