JAMIROQUAI hardly need an introduction: for over 30 years, they’ve been at the forefront of the British Acid Jazz scene and are among the world’s most renowned funk bands. With a Grammy, 15 Brit Award nominations, two Guinness World Records, and over 26 million albums sold, their legacy speaks for itself. The band’s founder, Jay Kay - born in Manchester in 1969 - is the sole constant member. Despite a challenging childhood, he discovered music early and founded JAMIROQUAI in 1992. Instead, they take to the stage whenever their creative “inner monkey” demands it. But once the lights go up, relaxation gives way to pure energy. Fans who attended their first post-pandemic tour or caught one of their electrifying festival performances know what’s in store. - Details
