Norwegian Black Metallers GRAVDAL have revealed the artwork and track list details for their upcoming album “Torturmantra”, which is due for release on Unexploded Records in the spring. The nine-track “Torturmantra” is a follow up to 2008’s “Sadist”, and will be the band’s second full-length album. Artwork on “Torturmantra” is by the Norwegian artist Robert Høyem who has worked with bands like SLAGMAUR and GALAR. Track listing as follows:

“PHOBIA” the new multi-media project from CARPATHIAN FOREST bass player Vrangsinn (VRANGSINN, SECHT, NATTEFROST, A WASTE OF TALENT), was released today on Misantrof ANTIRecords, and is available both via free download, and as a DVD with free audio CD, for purchase. The DVD is produced in batches of 100 copies, with each individual batch of 100 varying slightly from the others in terms of artwork. The entire project comprises a DVD (which is a multi-angle feature where Angle 1 is the main video and Angle 2 is the booklet), CD, Mp3 audio, and Mp4 (Multi-angle H264/AVC and a portable edition).  In the case of the free download, Misantrof also offers fans the option of a free CD/DVD burning application, so that anyone downloading the album can burn their own DVD should they wish to.  More information can be found at http://phobia.misantrof.net/

The new album by INERTIA is OUT NOW on Cryonica Music. "KLONED" and is a special project in which the band cover some of their favourite songs over the years. The album features songs which have been reworked by Inertia in their own unique style, some were done for musical reasons and some purely for fun! The album includes covers which were inspirational to the band and other songs which are guilty pleasures! The bands which have been covered are T-Rex, The Beatles, Falco, Nick Cave, Duran Duran, The Sparks, Concrete Blonde, Jesus Christ Superstar, Elvis Presley, Selena & David Byrne and Depeche Mode.

Legendary British thrashers ONSLAUGHT have confirmed that their first ever UK festival appearance will take place at the 10th anniversary BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR. After forming in 1983, ONSLAUGHT burst onto the burgeoning Thrash Metal scene, releasing 3 albums before disbanding in 1990 - but not before securing their place as one of the forefathers of British Thrash. Reforming in 2005 after seeing a huge resurgence of interest on the reissuing of their back catalogue, the band returned with a new album in 2007, rapturously received across the metal world. The next set of bands for the festival has just been ocnfirmed and adds even more diversity and quality to the line-up:

Spetsnaz
Spetsnaz, named after a Russian special military unit that has developed a very effective combat technique, was founded in 2001 in Örebro, Sweden, by Stefan Nilsson and Pontus Stålberg. Inspired by path breaking bands like Nitzer Ebb, Front 242, Die Krupps and DAF, Spetsnaz arose as a reaction against the so-called future pop, and in order to revive everything that Nilsson and Stålberg considered to be "old school" EBM music. And if there is a band that is able to bring the EMB back to life in its classic form and with all its energy, it’s Spetsnaz. The band’s live show is as intense and sweaty as the music, with Pontus rushing across the stage like a rampaging dervish and screaming his head off, while Stefan brutally mauls the pads of his electronic percussion.
