The title of Edge of Dawn's second album is “Anything That Gets You Through The Night”. Frank Spinath (Seabound) and Mario Schumacher's common album was deemed one of the scene's best releases of 2007. Thereafter, the announcement of a follow-up album was hotly awaited, especially since there appears to be no recent sign of life from the main project Seabound for the time being. The upcoming April release “Breedless” will be the 4th album of the American duo, as well as their first release on Dependent. Ego Likeness have ascended from their technoid, organic, trip-hop origins and evolved into a darker electronic dimension with each ensuing album. The earlier comparisons with bands like Curve and Collide can no longer be applied to “Breedless”, as the duo's work has taken on a much broader and darker spectrum. “Breedless” switches between soft female chants and a much louder vocal style filled with tormented energy. Despite its variable speeds and volumes, the album is always emotionally charged, whilst the lyrics consider the darkness of our human psyche. In retrospect, it is obvious that Ego Likeness has consistently increased their standard of productivity. We affirm “Breedless's flawlessness.The album will be released in the second half of April 2010 and will surprise more than one to whom Ego Likeness may still be unknown.

Dutch dark electro band XMH have signed to the german Danse Macabre label, home of bands such as KMFDM, Das Ich, Faith And The Muse and many others. Several European and American labels were in the running to sign XMH but Danse Macabre offered XMH the best record deal giving them complete artistic freedom. The new album 'State Of Mind' will be released early May 2010. In 2009 XMH have toured intensively in Germany, Holland, Belgium and Spain to try out the new songs and perfecting them for the new album State Of Mind. The new cd is being recorded at the Implant Studio in Belgium and will be produced by Len Lemeire (Implant, 32Crash, Anne Clark).- Details

DEATHBOUND, a grindcore patrol from Finland have started their European tour. Swedish bands Demonical and My Own Grave are sharing the stages with DEATHBOUND during the whole tour. DEATHBOUND's fourth album “Non Compos Mentis'” was released on January 27th (Finland), 29th (G/A/S) and 25th (r-o-w) 2010. Pete Seikkula's (ex- ...And Ocean’s, Black Dawn, etc,) bulldozer-like riffs, earth-shattering blast of Sami Latva (current Rotten Sound drummer) and Kai Jaakkola's (vocals of The Duskfall, Deathchain) dark lyrics of human minds non-sense delivers a mixture that they're never letting their selves and the audience with ease.
