The single ‘The Whole Story’ of SUNRISE AVENUE will be the trailer song of the 12th IAAF World Championships in athletics Berlin 2009. Within the scopes of the cooperation between ZDF and EMI Music Germany, the song will be used in the trailers for the event, and for the ‘Pictures of the Day’. Furthermore, the band will play live at the big start-up event at Brandenburger Tor on 14th August 2009 in Berlin. SUNRISE AVENUE, the sympathetic band from Finland, widely known for their hit ‘Fairytale Gone Bad’ is pleased by the cooperation with ZDF. The trailer song ‘The Whole Story’ was taken from the new album ‘POPGASM’, released on 222nd May 2009.- Details

Mastermind Johan van Roy stirs up a catchy, yet relentlessly aggressive cocktail of thudding beats, brutal shouts and melodic Trance- and Techno-licks to create an altogether unique Alternative-Dance-Floor-Sound.
