Electroheads, brace yourself for the ultimate electronic storm, COMBICHRIST! As the leading act in Techno Body Music Andy LaPlegua already earned wide-spread cult status. His current album ‘Today We Are All Demons’ radically combines the wild blend of EBM and techno with considerable trades of industrial and aggrotech, layered on the core of pure electronica. After debuting this fall with a well-received single collaboration with AYRIA, Toronto's own V01D is set to launch his debut double-CD on Artoffact Records. Entitled ‘This Is Not A False Alarm Anymore’, V01D's debut is a sonic riddle without any easy-access key. The album is dense and cerebral, veers into strange territory for industrial, including off-time drumming, live guitars, and very well-written lyrics. Not your usual fodder. Of course, V01D shows his roots on every track, meshing elements of HAUJOBB, BOARDS OF CANADA, POP WILL EAT ITSELF, FAITH NO MORE, and UNDERWORLD into a slick and surprising release. - Details

Paradise Lost, Samael
The newest PARADISE LOST album ‘Faith Divdes Us - Death Unites Us’, which was released some weeks ago, turns the wheel towards a much earthlier sound, that is, more rock or metal elements respectively. In fact, it’s the hardest record PARADISE LOST have done in a long time. Almost like a back to the roots record, but sound-wise melded with their atmospheric sensibilities. It surely will be an interesting experience to see them performing these new brutal tracks live.
