After the surprising success of their first Single "Über's Wasser Gehen", Obscenity Trial is about to release their second Single "Glück Auf" on September 11th. The Song already entered DAC and GEWC Top 20 within the first week. Furthermore "Glück Auf" is gaining popularity amongst TV- and Radio-Stations.As with "Über's Wasser Gehen" producer Tino Oac and the Indicative Studio put their hands on the new Single. The Single is a digital-only Release and so the upcoming third Studio-Album "Soulstrip" is just around the corner.

Proggressive metal band PAIN OF SALVATION continues the recording of their new album. There is a new deal with Century Media and the process continues for the new follow up from 'Scarsick' (2007). The double album is called 'Road Salt' and expected in 2010.Pain Of Salvation states on their website: Earlier this year SPV (distributors and co-owners of InsideOut Music) declared insolvency and filed for bankruptcy, causing a lot of damage for us and other bands. As for ourselves, the planned album release and four tours were effectively postponed and/or cancelled indefinitely. Therefore we are now happy to announce that we are back on track again, with Century Media picking up InsideOut, together sorting out the sordid mess that SPV caused.

In our previous news we let you know that Geir, Angel and Fredrik are going to have a break from APOP; many of you want to know who is going to join Stephan on the US tour in September, so here is the news, directly from Stephan himself:"I am very proud to announce that my brother Jonas is going to play keyboards on the US tour", Stephan says. "Over the years Jonas has been a part of APOP's inner circle. He has been producing, arranging, remixing, and recording together with me on all APOP albums since "WELCOME TO EARTH". Jonas has also been co-writing several APOP songs and, most important, has been my "vocal coach" the last many years. Im sure you all remember his amazing acoustic version of UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD that was featured on the HARMONIZER/UNICORN DVD, the BLACK EP and the soundtrack for the German movie "Lauf Um Dein Leben" in 2008."

Ragnarök Festival has got a new location for 2010. The seventh edition of the festival is set to take place from 29th of April till the 1st of May 2010 at the Ostbayernhalle at D-92286 Rieden/Kreuth. For the first time ever, Ragnarök wil feature three days of pagan and viking metal. First confirmed bands are Agathodaimon (Ger), Akrea (Ger) and Arkona (Rus).
