After having announced the title of the upcoming Epica album last week, this week we want to give you some more info on The Divine Conspiracy.The Divine Conspiracy will be Epica’s first full length concept album. This concept deals with the theory that, as a test, God created all kinds of different religions and released those upon humanity to see if they would be able to find the true nature of them, realizing that in all religions it is actually the same. But there’s more to it, it also concludes the “Embrace That Smothers” concept that could already be found on The Phantom Agony.
We also want to mention a special guest performance on this cd; Sander Gommans (After Forever & HDK) joined us in the studio to record some of his amazing grunts for one of the songs!

ROADRUNNER RECORDS announces the signing of multi-platinum alternative rock band The Cult, the influential UK group who have built an extensive global fan base with hits such as “She Sells Sanctuary,” “Rain,” “Wild Flower,” “Love Removal Machine,” “Edie,” “The Witch” and “Rise.” A new studio album, the first since 2001, is currently being recorded in London with producer Youth (Verve, Primal Scream), who will be adding final touches and mixing. The expected release date for the yet untitled album is September 25, 2007 and will be released in conjunction with The Cult’s imprint label, NEW WILDERNESS.- Details

Timetable for Graspop Metal Meeting 2007 now available!
It’s been a long time in the making but the definitive timetable for GMM 2007 has been posted on the Graspop site! It’s been a hectic few weeks making the final adjustments to the lineup. We had to reshuffle the timetable somewhat due to Velvet Revolver cancelling their European tour and Dragonlord’s cancellation last week. ‘Why not replace Velvet Revolver with Machine Head?’ I hear you say. Well, negotiations with Machine Head were initiated as soon as preparations for the 2007 edition started, but the band is not available due to personal circumstances.

Here's news from the mighty Dong hill! Good news first: There's still a very limited amount of tickets available! Of what used to be a respectable stash of Dong tickets, we now offer the left amount of tickets to you until probably the end of this week. Now it's also about time though to confront you with the bad news. For the past six years we could offer you half a liter of beer for 1,-€. With the currency change from Mark to Euro we even had a slight decline in the price in 2002. As you will probably understand, we have to keep the counter-business cost-efficient. Not only as a result of the VAT raise in Germany from 16 to 19%, the profit we actually made from serving beer has become very small. To cut a long story short: We present to you the new beer price of 1,50€ per 0.5 l bottle! At this price we still beat every bar and pub out there!
