IRON MAIDEN will start their “Somewhere back in time” Tour in 2008, that will lead them through  Europe, Asia, North and South Africa and for the first time for over 15 years to Australia for some shows and it will only feature material from that time up to and including the “Seventh Son of a Seventh Son“ album. The only show in Germany will be the one at the Wacken Open Air. The band will travel with a 60 man crew and 12 toms of equipment in a Boeing 757 especially designed for them, with Bruce Dickinson himself as a pilot.

This tour is called “Somewhere back in time” because of the upcoming DVD release including the classic “Live after Death” and “Maiden England” concerts, which will be released in spring 2008 and the legendary Egyptian stage, created with elements of the “Somewhere in time” Tour like the Cyborg Eddie.
