Cleveland's CHIMAIRA have issued the following official statement: "As you may or may not know, we have decided to cancel our upcoming U.K./European run. There's really no way for us to describe our sorrow after having decided to pull out of the Eastpak Antidote tour. It was an extremely difficult decision for us to make, and one that we have been painfully mulling over for weeks now. Konstanz is a nice city at the edge of the “Bodensee”, one of the biggest lakes in Germany. In 2007, the festival “Rock am See” is presented for the 22nd time. So, the festival has got a long tradition. Set in a triangle between Germany, Switzerland and Austria the location is one of the nicest ones you can imagine for a festival.

There are few professions that force one to so constantly face down the march of time as that of the gloriously precarious job of rock stardom. And it is exactly that which makes the title of DAVE GAHAN’s second solo album, Hourglass (Mute/Virgin Records), all the more poignant.
The revered Depeche Mode front man, of course, nearly ran out of time himself. In the midst of a tragic and understandably well-publicized pre-Millennial run of decadence and self-destruction, Gahan’s heart literally stopped beating—the result of an overdose in a Los Angeles hotel room. He survived, of course, and, given a second chance at life, he determinedly set about the business of making the rest of his time matter--in a way that he hadn’t in a very, very long time.

We´d like to thank you for your support because without YOU we would not be what we are: One of the biggest Heavy Metal Festival worldwide!
Of course there have been problems this year because of the disastrous weather conditions whilst the assembling period, at the park- and campinggrounds as well as at the arrival which we will try to change next year. But altogether we all celebrated a brilliant Metal party.
