Yet, they prepare the ground for artists like him: Martin Schindler, a uniquely abyssic poet in a genre rich in apocalyptic weaponry. MUMFORD & SONS is a British Folk-Rock band around singer and guitarist Marcus Mumford. The band was founded in London in 2007. Already a year later they appeared on the Glastonbury Festival! In 2009, their first album ‘Sigh No More‘ was published and reached a position in the top 3 of the charts in several countries. Their newest, third album is called ‘Wilder Mind' and was published in May, 2015. From the beginning, the quartet was often distinguished: Whether European Border Breakers Award, Grammy, BRIT or Echo – they have them all, completely apart from about 60 platinum honouring which they collected internationally.
