Placebo at Zeltfestival Ruhr
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their platinum-acclaimed album ‘Placebo’, PLACEBO are going on a on a big world tour. The first part of their “20 Years Of Placebo” tour started in Denmark and ended at the Wembley Arena in London. In the course of further dates, they are really coming to the opening of the 10th Zeltfestival Ruhr.
The band promises a selection of their entire repertoire, joked Brian Molko... “Let's just say that the program includes songs that I never wanted to play again. It is time for us to realize what many PLACEBO fans really want to hear. They were very patient as we rarely play our commercially most successful material. A tour to the 20th anniversary seems to be the right reason for this. That is our intention. This tour is for our fans and an opportunity for us to return to our early material. If you want to listen to songs such as ‘Pure Morning’ or ‘Nancy’, which we have not played for almost ten years and will never play again, come to these shows! We have some surprises ready for you.”
