“Dear camouflage fans, the new year begins with mixed feelings.
After intensive discussions among ourselves and an in-depth analysis of the post-pandemic live market, we have decided to postpone our planned tour to autumn 2024. Our long band break since 2016 originally prompted us to want to celebrate 40 years of CAMOUFLAGE, 40 years of music, videos, pictures and memories with you and our entire crew. But while we talked about it in detail, we realized that for a tour that is not only beautiful, but also successful and exciting, it definitely needs some new songs and new content of all kinds, and not only memories and archive material. And we wouldn’t be CAMOUFLAGE if we didn’t accept this challenge.

The second single taken from ZOODRAKE’s third album (to be released in May) is titled ‘by your side’. The emotional track impressively shows the strong Synth Pop qualities of the band in harmony with Hilton’s charismatic vocals. The third album will consistently continue the band’s stylistic and thematic path containing the usual 10 song tracklist, without relying on repetition, because this time again it deals with profound personal themes, which increasingly complete the overall picture of ZOODRAKE, combining powerful electronic beats, atmospheric synths and selective guitar lines. “‘by your side’ is by far my absolute highlight among all ZOODRAKE songs, cause it is dedicated to my daughter, and represents my most personal performance so far, which tells about precious memories, hope and a promise.”
