The Offspring - “Supercharged” European Tour - Special Guests: Simple Plan
The Punk Rock legends around frontman Dexter Holland have announced the release of their brand-new album ‘Supercharged’. With their laid-back style and unique sound, THE OFFSPRING from Orange County, California have influenced more than just one generation musically since 1984. Their song ‘You’re Gonna Go Far Kid’ now has more than a billion streams on Spotify and ranks alongside ‘The Kids Aren’t Alright’, ‘Self Esteem’, ‘Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)’ and many other tracks among the band’s most successful songs, all of which hold the status of rock anthems.
After the successful third album ‘Smash’, which reached number four in the German album charts in 1994 and brought the band their international breakthrough, THE OFFSPRING celebrated the biggest success of their career to date with their fifth album ‘Americana’ and reached number two on the Billboard 200 in the USA. THE OFFSPRING have won 16 of 29 award nominations to date - including the MTV Europe Music Award, two Kerrang! Awards, the Billboard Music Award and 9 OC Music Awards. With over 40 million albums sold and a 40-year band history, THE OFFSPRING are one of the most successful and influential Punk bands in the USA and rank alongside names such as GREEN DAY and BLINK-182 among the most important bands in the Californian Punk scene. In October 2025, THE OFFSPRING will be touring the world with SIMPLE PLAN as support to present their new album ‘Supercharged’ live and play shows in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt and Cologne.
Singer Bryan “Dexter” Holland, bassist Greg Kiesel and drummer James Lilja founded the band MANIC SUBSIDAL in 1984, which together with guitarist Kevin “Noodles” Wasserman became THE OFFSPRING in 1986. After the self-release of two singles, the band signed with Nemesis/ Cargo in 1989 to release their debut album ‘The Offspring’. This was followed by a signing with Epitaph and the album ‘Ignition’ (1992). The album ‘Smash’ (1994) and the albums ‘Ixnay On The Hombre’ (1997) and ‘Americana’ (1998), released via Columbia Records, finally made THE OFFSPRING one of the most successful Punk bands of the 1990s. ‘Conspiracy Of One’ (2000), ‘Splinter’ and a ‘Greatest Hits’ album (2005) also built on this success. In 2008, the album ‘Rise And Fall, Rage And Grace’ was released, which included the band’s most streamed track, ‘You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid’.
This was followed in 2014 by the album ‘Days Go By’, which took THE OFFSPRING into the top five in the German album charts. In 2019, founding member Greg Kiesel left the band and was replaced by bassist Todd Morse. After signing with Concord Records, the album ‘Let The Bad Times Roll’ was released in 2021, which, like its predecessor, entered the German album charts at number five. In 2023, drummer Brandon Pertzborn and multi-instrumentalist Jonah Minoy became part of the band, who released their eleventh ‘Supercharged’ on October 11, 2024. FUZE Magazine described the record with songs like ‘Light It Up’, ‘Make It All Right’ and the self-deprecating ‘Come To Brazil’ as a “typical Offspring record” with “humour, optimism and cynicism” between Pop and Punk. With this typical sound, THE OFFSPRING once again prove to their fans that, even after 40 years, they still belong to the absolute pinnacle of Californian Punk.
