The band from Sheffield, England will be at the Luxexpo Open Air… and fake tales of San Francisco will echo through our city.. ARCTIC MONKEYS arrived with a blast in 2005 with their debut ‘Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not’ receiving the title of fastest-selling album in British history. After having released their latest LP ‘The Car’ in 2022, ARCTIC MONKEYS have just announced a small run of European open air headline shows in summer 2023, including a date in Luxembourg.

Arch Enemy - “Live in Europe” 2023 - Support: Ad Infinitum
ARCH ENEMY are incapable of making bad records, a point they hammer home with album number 11, the mighty ‘Deceivers’. Delivering a maelstrom of diamond-hard riffing wrapped around cinematic melodies, thunderous drumming and towering vocals, they are unstoppable and sound incredibly energized. Their third full-length with vocalist Alissa White-Gluz and second with guitarist Jeff Loomis, the Swedish extreme metal quintet are operating at the highest level, and ‘Deceivers’ easily stands toe-to-toe with the highlights of their storied catalogue. Roaring to life with ‘Handshake With Hell’ they make it clear they are out for blood, and every track is a highlight, from the moody ‘Poisoned Arrow’ to the titanically anthemic ‘One Last Time’.

Hollywood Vampires - “Europe 2023” - Support: Seether
Finally the time has come and three years of waiting are over: HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES are coming to Europe for shows in Summer 2023! The band around Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper and Joe Perry (AEROSMITH) will then shed their image as the “world’s most expensive cover group” (ALICE COOPER). If in 2015 they still primarily presented classics like ‘Whole Lotta Love’ (LED ZEPPELIN), ‘Cold Turkey’ (JOHN LENNON) or ‘My Generation’ (THE WHO) on their debut, things were already different on ‘Rise’ (2019). This CD contains 13 original compositions plus three cover versions including the ‘Heroes’ homage sung by Johnny Depp. The song, which currently holds top positions in the iTunes charts (metal, rock), was recorded where David Bowie & Co. recorded the original between July and August 1977: in Berlin’s Hansa Studios. It’s unmistakable: the “Trio Infernale” and their four companions take pure joy in making music together and in their postmodern, handmade (hard) rock.

Papa Roach - “Europe 2023” - Support: Hollywood Undead
Over the past two decades PAPA ROACH have established themselves as true trendsetters in rock music. They’ve been nominated for three Grammys, toured the globe with everyone from Eminem to MARILYN MANSON as well as headlining festivals in their own right, and crafted the anthem ‘Last Resort’ which is still in heavy rotation on radio stations worldwide twenty years after its release. The group’s tenth full length ‘Who Do You Trust?’ last year saw the band returning to their hungry and humble roots and illustrated why they’ve managed to remain relevant while musical trends ebb and flow. The band passed 1 Billion streams on Spotify and are notching up over 6.5 million streams a day across multiple playlists. Entering a new era of their career, they are the sound of genre walls being broken down, leaving only one thing to say… ”Viva La Cucaracha!”

Ghost - “Re-Imperatour Europe “2023 - Support: Halestorm
The Swedish-born Tobias Forge, who has been referred to as “the Andrew Lloyd Webber of Rock,” is GHOST’s creative force, singer, songwriter, musician, and architect of the elaborate storylines that are woven through the band’s four full-length studio albums, EPs, music videos, webisodes, and live shows, all of which advance the GHOST storyline. Forge grew up listening to a wide array of 1970s and 1980s rock - ALICE COOPER, JOURNEY, KANSAS, BOSTON, BLACK SABBATH, JEFFERSON STARSHIP, IRON MAIDEN, and FOREIGNER. He’s a hard-core music junkie; at home in Sweden, he has a most impressive collection of vinyl, cassettes, CDs, and VHS tapes, and when on tour, he regularly arranges for visits to local record haunts and ships back even more treasures. He plays guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and kazoo. GHOST’s current album, ‘Prequelle’, is loosely based on The Black Plague of 14th century Europe, a metaphor Forge hopes will apply to the societal ills of today.
