unify separate detoxScottish-Swedish electronic duo UNIFY SEPARATE go to ‘DETOX’. ‘DETOX’, the new single from the Stockholm-based band, is the duo’s darkest and deepest track yet, blending distorted synthesisers and intricate machine rhythms with raw and emotive vocals. It’s the first track to be taken from the forthcoming EP, ‘Heavy Meta’, and showcases the band’s new darker and heavier sound. The new single ‘DETOX’ will be released on all major streaming platforms on 27th September. The ‘Heavy Meta’ EP will be released in early 2025. UNIFY SEPARATE has been confirmed as one of the acts for the 2025 edition of the prestigious Amphi Festival in Cologne, Germany.

UNIFY SEPARATE are the Scottish-Swedish duo of Andrew Montgomery (vocals) and Leo Josefsson (keyboards, vocals), who have released two critically acclaimed albums, ‘First Contact’ (in 2019) and ‘Music Since Tomorrow’ (in 2023), touring in Germany, Sweden and the UK along the way. With a unique voice that’s equal parts Indie choirboy and soul singer, Andrew Montgomery first made waves in the Britpop era with the band GENEVA, which was signed to Nude Records between 1996 and 2000 and toured with SUEDE, among others. Swedish Grammy-winning producer Leo Josefsson has been a key fixture of the Stockholm Synth scene with the bands LOWE and STATEMACHINE, whose work has been recognised with several Scandinavian Alternative Music Awards (Best Newcomer, Best Live Act, Best Song and Best Album). UNIFY SEPARATE’s live show is an intense and rich experience, and their futuristic visuals and thrilling sound are equally at home on arena stages or intimate clubs.
