Lacrimosa - 25 Years, the jubilee concert
LACRIMOSA released a first audio cassette in 1990 – back then as a solo project of Tilo Wolff – which was followed up to this day by eleven studio records, three live double CDs and a record with rarities. In 1994, LACRIMOSA became a duo with Anne Nurmi and a year later a sextet on stage and since 1998, LACRIMOSA have played regularly shows in front of a worldwide fan community. LACRIMOSA's last world tour for the record ‘Revolution’ led them through 19 countries on 4 continents during 57 shows.
LACRIMOSA celebrate their 25th band anniversary in 2015! This will be solely celebrated with the audience with which everything began: LACRIMOSA conceptualised two anniversary shows only for Germany in which they will recall the past of 25 years of their own music history. Based on the first composition ‘Seele in Not’ in the original, electronic version, the visitors will be put through a time tunnel in which they can closely live through LACRIMOSA's musical diversity and poetic depth in all its facets.
LACRIMOSA will perform in Oberhausen's Turbinenhalle as the only venue in the old federal states on 18th September 2015.
