The German singer / songwriter with the distinguished voice is surely known by many from the very successful Synth Pop duo WOLFSHEIM where he was the singer and songwriter from 1987 to 2007. Signing in 2005 a contract for his solo project at a major label, he launched his first album ‘Solo’ in 2008. The first single of the album reached quickly the Top 20 of the German charts. With the second album ‘My heart of stone’ he successfully entered the charts of all German- speaking countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). But you might also know him from being guest singer of various bands and musicians like GOETHES ERBEN, SCHILLER, Milu, MARIANNE ROSENBERG, PAUL VAN DYK and JOACHIM WITT of course, just to mention only a few.
The duet with JOACHIM WITT at the song ‘Die Flut’ (The flood) was one of the most successful hits for both musicians, being in the Top 10 for many weeks in all German- speaking countries and for selling 500,000 singles alone in Germany they were awarded with platinum. The lyrics of his songs are in English as well as in German language. As the acoustic tour in 2014 was such a big success PETER HEPPNER is doing in 2015 a new tour with acoustic shows. And the Gloria Theatre in Cologne is such a lush and cosy venue perfectly fitting for this kind of concert.
