thekooks tour2022With their debut ‘Inside In / Inside Out’ THE KOOKS cemented their existence in the music world 15 years ago. ‘Inside In / Inside Out’ only marked the beginning of a career that would not die down in the following years. The album, which was released in 2006, went four times platinum, including hits such as the BRIT Award-nominated ‘She Moves In Her Own Way’, ‘You Don’t Love Me’ or the top 5 single ‘Naïve’. The album is now considered an indispensable classic and a record for a whole generation. To date, THE KOOKS are one of the most influential Indie Pop bands in the world.

On the occasion of the anniversary of their debut, the British have now confirmed that they will tour Great Britain in March 2022 and will also make an extended stop in Germany as part of this. “After this long hibernation, we are very excited to finally announce a tour for the coming year that will celebrate our debut birthday,” said guitarist Luke Pritchard. “We want to perform the album in its entirety live. It’s a thank you to our fans and their love that kept the record alive,” he adds.

In the spring of next year, the British will take their fans on a nostalgic journey through 15 years of band history. THE KOOKS will be accompanied by the Scottish Indie Rock band THE SNUTS, which is currently being advertised as an absolute insider tip and whose debut album ‘W.L.’ was only recently released. The Indie Rock newcomers want to continue their debut success on stage in the spring.
