Two years ago, on their extensive European tour, during which they also played concerts in Germany, MADRUGADA not only celebrated the 20th anniversary of their debut ‘Industrial Silence’, but also their reunion as a band. After the Norwegian Indie Rock band split up in 2008 after 13 years of band history, they were back on stage together ten years later. Now the band around singer Sivert Høyem has confirmed another tour of Germany for spring 2022. New material is also in the works.On their comeback tour, MADRUGADA encountered a fan base that had grown significantly in their absence. Fans of the first hour, as well as those who would never have believed they would experience MADRUGADA live again, shared a seat in the audience of the sold-out concerts. So many tickets were sold for the anniversary tour that the shows had to be moved to larger venues. After ‘Industrial Silence’ was the focus of the repertoire on their last tour, all fans can look forward to new music by the Norwegians, which is now opening a new exciting chapter in their artistic success story. The magic that MADRUGADA exuded in the 90s has not gone away for a long time.
Sivert Høyem and his bandmates still shine with a melancholic and at the same time powerful sound that can be assigned to Dark Rock and has a mystical impression. In March 2022, the Norwegians will tour Germany with a new album.
