Sierra
French producer SIERRA, also known as Annelise Morel, is currently performing to promote her intriguing debut LP ‘A Story of Anger’. Known for dancefloor-friendly Synth Wave and EBM singles, this album showcases SIERRA’s strengths in creating mid-tempo pieces and dramatic builds.
While her previous work often emphasized portentous instrumentals, this release puts Morel’s vocals in the spotlight. The first half of the album features her departure from a familiar monotone, embracing a more melodic delivery. Having in mind her recent release and the cooperation with HEALTH (she was a guest vocalist on the new album ‘Rat Wars’) it might be a great event to witness the material live.
