‘Someone Somewhere In Summertime’ - a song by SIMPLE MINDS. Probably the best-known import from Scotland has announced that it will be playing two open-air concerts in Summertime in Germany.
Founded as a Punk band in the early 80s and still one of the best live bands today, SIMPLE MINDS still fill large halls and stadiums. In 2025, guitarist Charlie Burchill and frontman Jim Kerr want to thank their fans with new songs. The first of the new songs ‘Your Name In Lights’ could be played on the tour. Classic songs such as ‘New Gold Dream 81 82 83 84’, ‘The American’, ‘Love Song’, ‘Belfast Child’ or ‘Alive and Kicking’ should certainly also find a place in the SIMPLE MINDS setlist.
