Joining Lee and Lifeson for the “Fifty Something Tour” are German drummer, composer, and producer Anika Nilles, who has already performed over 60 shows with Jeff Beck and released four solo albums. Keyboardist Loren Gold (THE WHO, ROGER DALTREY) will also accompany the band.

“We can’t wait to get back to all these cities we haven’t played in so long, as well as hitting some new places we’ve yet to play,” comments Geddy Lee. “Both Alex and I are loving the hours of rehearsal time we’re spending with Anika and now Loren, learning around 40 songs which will enable us to keep the shows evolving, playing some different songs on different nights. We are thrilled that many of our longstanding crew have come back to help us design the kind of RUSH show that fans have grown accustomed to expect from us. We dearly hope you will come along and help us celebrate 50 years of Rush music, while giving Neil the long overdue tribute he so richly deserves.”

Neil Peart’s widow Carrie Nuttall-Peart and daughter Olivia Peart add: “We are thrilled to support the “Fifty Something Tour”, celebrating a band whose music has resonated and inspired fans for generations, and to honour Neil’s extraordinary legacy as both a drummer and lyricist. Neil’s musicianship was singular. Compositions of intricacy and power that expanded what rhythm itself could express. As both drummer and lyricist, he was irreplaceable. Inimitable in his artistry, and unmatched in the depth and imagination he brought to the lyrics that inspired and moved so many, he profoundly shaped how fans connected with him and the band, giving voice and meaning to their own lives. As the band enters this new chapter, it promises to be truly unforgettable. We are excited to see how their new vision unfolds, and to hear this legendary music played live once again.”

In addition, RUSH have released the 50-track Super Deluxe Anthology, ‘RUSH 50’. Rolling Stone describes it as “an epic saga, that functions equally well as an introduction for the uninitiated or a companion piece for the super fan”. ‘RUSH 50’ is available in five different versions and represents the entire breadth of the band’s discography - starting with the first reissue of their 1973 debut single and concluding with a live recording of the last song Lee, Lifeson, and Peart played together at the final concert of the R40 Tour at The Forum, Los Angeles. ‘RUSH 50’ is available HERE.

What’s more, an expanded box set of their tenth RUSH album, 1984’s ‘Grace Under Pressure’, will be released on 13th March. It contains a new album mix by Terry Brown, as well as a complete recording of their hometown show at Maple Leaf Gardens, Toronto, from September 1984. Pre-orders are available HERE.

Get ready to celebrate the music of RUSH with Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson in 2026 and 2027!

Driven by the unique interplay of Geddy Lee (Bass, Keys, Vocals), Alex Lifeson (Guitar, Vocals), and the late Neil Peart (Drums, Lyrics), RUSH have steered Rock music into previously uncharted territories. Over their career, the band have sold over 45 million albums worldwide, received seven GRAMMY® Award nominations, amassed billions of streams, and have been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame.

RUSH pioneered, influenced generations of musicians, and attracted one of the most passionate fan communities in music history. They stand for rock without limits, balancing sophisticated instrumentation, anthemic vocals, provocative lyrics, and both sonically and thematically revolutionary storytelling. RUSH achieved “the third most consecutive gold / platinum studio albums by a Rock band, behind only THE BEATLES and THE ROLLING STONES.”

In 1996, the members were honoured as “Officers of the Order of Canada”, and in 2012 they received the “Canadian Governor General’s Performing Arts Award”. A star for RUSH can be found on both the Canada Walk of Fame and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Neil Peart passed away on January 7, 2020, following a battle with brain cancer. To honour Peart and the band’s legacy, Lee and Lifeson will celebrate RUSH on tour in 2026. It is an opportunity for new audiences to finally experience the music live in all its glory, and for devoted fans to come together again.
