From July 9th to 11th, if you visit Brande-Hörnerkirchen, just a 35 kilometres from Hamburg, you'll be in for a really pleasant surprise and a great weekend, for this will be the 5th Hörnerfest and if last year's festival was anything to go by then it'll be amongst the most magnificent of Germany's small festivals.
The line up this year includes such bands as Cultus Ferox, Equilibrium and the ever popular Feurschwanz, as well as the welcome return of Russian metallers Arkona with nineteen bands booked so far and counting. There's a great medieval and craft market, delicious food reasonably priced, good showers and toilet facilities as well as a truly friendly and great atmosphere.
