In 2010, an enormous quantity of decibels will swallow Moscow. They are back! METALLICA is ready to strike the capital of Russia again. The unique performance of the rock legends will gather in Olympiski over fifty thousand of fans of the band. METALLICA will be in Moscow on the 24th and 25th of April within their “World Magnetic Tour 2010” to support the latest album entitled ‘Death Magnetic’.
The album was released in the end of 2008 and became METALLICA’s first studio record over the last 5 years. The band’s impact to the world metal scene can’t be overestimated and METALLICA is one of so-called the “Big Four” bands of thrash metal. The others are SLAYER, MEGADETH and ANTHRAX. The formation was founded in 1981 by guitarist and lead singer James Hetfield and drummer Lars Ulrich and currently it also consists of guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo.
METALLICA always plays full-house concerts and the tickets are sold with a crazy speed. Of course, it’s almost impossible to miss a chance to see the live show of the formation with such impressive and well-known songs as ‘Creeping Death’, ‘Master of Puppets’, ‘Enter Sandman’, ‘For Whom the Bell Tolls’, ‘One’, ‘Seek and Destroy’ and unforgettable ‘Nothing Else Matters’!
