Seems like in Finland they have a knack to produce rock music that is bound to be successful sooner or later, but while bands like THE RASMUS or the biggest representatives HIM are taking a rather Gothic-influenced direction the band NEGATIVE, founded in 1997 in Tampere, goes a different path with their approach to glam rock. The first album ‘War of Love’ already was certified gold in their native and the second one ‘Sweet & Deceitful’ from 2004 even climbed up to the pole position of the Finnish charts.
That album also was the start of their story of success in Germany and with every new album they’d release, their popularity was to grow and expand to entire Europe and even Japan. With ‘Neon’, their most recent album, released in June 2010 they’re continuing their path and the fresh material will be presented in conjunction with lots of much-loved songs from the band’s potpourri when the band’s hitting the Matrix in Bochum.
