Naked Lunch
Back in 1979, NAKED LUNCH, and especially front-man Tony Mayo, were hugely influential in the fledgling electronic music scene in the UK. Crucial to the encouragement and development of bands like DEPECHE MODE, they helped shape the androgynous, experimental and progressive music at the time, alongside FAD GADGET, BLANCMANGE, SOFT CELL and THE THE amongst many others. Fading away gracefully once the mid-eighties were reached, to have them back again now, and playing such iconic venues as London’s Hope & Anchor, is something of a revelation. https://nakedlunchofficial.com/ / https://www.facebook.com/NAKDLUNCH1/

Chameleons Vox & MindSlide
The melancholy rock guitar wave of the CHAMELEONS is mentioned as one of today's biggest influences next to the sound of bands like JOY DIVISION, ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN and THE SOUND by current new wave / post punk bands like INTERPOL and THE SOFT MOON. CHAMELEONS’ singer Mark Burgess dedicated himself for the last time to the greatest hits of the band with his new band THE CHAMELEONS VOX in the Gleis 22 where the “We are all Chameleons Farewell Tour” had one of its last dates. Bielefeld based MINDSLIDE were opening the evening.

And One & Beyond Obsession
Last time I saw AND ONE I left the show earlier because Steve was talking too much about too many political things. This time I wanted to stay and see what happens. A friend convinced me to go there and check out what is now going on with the “Trilogie Supershow 1” tour, the new but old band members, and BEYOND OBSESSION as a support act. And so I made my way to Leipzig’s Haus Auensee, caught a place in the second row and was pushed and insulted by a guy looking like an aggressive security guy mixed with an old punk-rock west, smelling like a bum – and being drunk. First thought this day: I want to go home, I don’t need to have things like this. But I stayed…

3rd May 2015
TheARTer Festival 2015 with Orphaned Land, Coppelius, Eden Weint Im Grab, Tunes Of Dawn, Neopera, Silberschauer, Stimmgewalt, Carpe Noctem
When we arrived we had to go back to the end of the queue although we had a press accreditation. We had just gone back, when the securities stopped the queue due to security concerns, because the location was too full. We had to wait one and a half hour until we were allowed to enter the club. People were not amused and even some shots distributed by the organizers didn't raise their mood for long. That was only the beginning of an evening where nearly all went wrong, exception made of the commitment of the artists and the patience of the visitors.
