25th December 2016
Dark Storm Festival 2016 with Felsenreich, Heldmaschine, Accessory, Machinista, Sexorcist, Joachim Witt, Patenbrigade: Wolff, Das Ich, Rotersand, Combichrist, Suicide Commando, Diary of Dreams and VNV Nation
The Dark Storm Festival called for its 20th anniversary to Chemnitz and all came. I was attending the festival for the first time and have to say following according to the location: A very nice, cleverly constructed hall with a large stage and entrances right next to the front of the stage. So it was ensured that everybody could quickly go far forward and had a very good view of the huge stage. The rest was also very well organized. The food was delicious and served at a reasonable price. The only shortcomings were that the admission took quite a long time as apparently only one door was open and there were security missing at the entrance to the second area (More below).

Once again the band invited to “Home match”, now as version 3.0, as NEUROTICFISH are hailing from the Ruhr area. And of course the fans and friends followed this invitation in order to celebrate a gorgeous pre-Christmas party. The concert was almost sold out. Alongside the band, BINARY PARK and MORTAJA did their best to entertain the audience and make them move.

10th December 2016
Phillip Boa and the Voodooclub & Emilys Giant
Pop, Rock, Avant-Garde, high energy and music from the heart, these are the themes for tonight as PHILLIP BOA AND THE VOODOOCLUB invite their fans to the Zeche Bochum, by the way one of my favourite clubs. The concert is sold out and I am expecting a terrific night at a packed venue. The German musician and his band are accompanied by EMILYS GIANT who are going to add some indie vibes. Drizzling rain follows me on my way to the club but inside the Zeche, it is comfortably warm and the stage is set up for the band. Red lights shine down on me as more people arrive and the small venue gets crowded.
