13th March 2016
The Vintage Caravan, Dead Lord & Tiebreaker
If you're into retro rock you should not miss the Icelanders live on stage. On 13th March in Münster, they celebrated their final show of their first EU headline tour called “The Beautiful Tour”! DEAD LORD from Sweden and TIEBREAKER from Norway were going to contribute to the Rock’n’Roll explosion in the Sputnikhalle. DEAD SOUL describe their music with the help of a promise: “We shall rock you with our rock.” TIEBREAKER characterise their sound as “a bone breaking mixture of groovy, ‘straight-from-the-heart’ rock & roll and blues with a taste of progressive rock.” Sounds like a quite energetic evening and it was an energetic evening at the Café of Sputnikhalle.

Boy & Small Fires
It's been four years that fans of the German-Swiss duo BOY had to be patient: Then, in August last year, Valeska Steiner and Sonja Glass released their second album called ‘We Were Here’ and were as successful with it as with their debut ‘Mutual Friends’ in 2011. On their recent “We Were Here Tour”, BOY are presenting their refined tunes with their band in a pure and authentic manner. On March 12, they were sending out colourful sparks at the Kulturfabrik in Krefeld.

Sunrise Avenue with Wonderland Orchestra & Niila
I have been to many SUNRISE AVENUE shows over the last ten years. My experiences range from small clubs to open-air concerts with roaring crowds in front of the stage. The Lanxess-Arena in Cologne is a big venue and it is sold out. SUNRISE AVENUE are to perform with the Wonderland Orchestra. This can only mean new arrangements, an overall classical touch, and the usual fun with the “Finnish boys”.

5th March 2016
Double Crush Syndrome Supporters Festival with: AlleHackbar, In Haze, Sara Sucks, Sticky Boys and Double Crush Syndrome
Not too long ago, we’ve had a short talk about the DCS SUPPORTERS FESTIVAL 2 with the event’s host Matthias Häcker, cf. here, and on March 5th, it finally took place in Pforzheim, Germany – “Fotzheim”, if you want to use the words of DOUBLE CRUSH SYNDROME’s fronter Andy Brings. Being solely organized by fans one could’ve expected a lack of professionalism, but as a very pleasant surprise that was not the case at all. The five bands playing that evening - ALLEHACKBAR, IN HAZE, SARA SUCKS, STICKY BOYS and of course DOUBLE CRUSH SYNDROME - got the audience rocking, and the atmosphere was amazing even though there were less visitors than expected. https://www.facebook.com/DCSsupporters

29th February 2016
Jimmy Somerville & Chris Brenner
I have to say that the Gloria is a favourite venue of me though finding a parking place is troublesome, too, like at the other venues in Cologne. Thus I was looking forward to see JIMMY SOMERVILLE for the first time. The show was sold out on this evening.
