Cradle of Filth, Ne Obliviscaris, The Monolith Deathcult
013 has recently been reopened after several months of reconstruction. The interior has been renewed and more importantly: both stages have been enlarged, a welcome change which is illustrated by the fact that 013 is completely sold out tonight with STATUS QUO on the main stage and CRADLE OF FILTH on the Jupiler stage. While the oldies shuffle in line for the first band, I more happily join the dark crowd with painted faces at the smaller stage. With the “Inquisitional Torture Tour”, extreme metal band CRADLE OF FILTH from the UK promoting their latest album ‘Hammer of the Witches’. Tonight they share the stage with fusion metal band NE OBVLIVISCARIS from down under and THE MONOLITH DEATHCULT from our own little country.

Karl Bartos - Opening concert for the exhibition “Die Roboter”
In the context of the permanent exhibition “Mensch - Arbeit - Technik’ (people - work - technic)” at the DASA Dortmund the music of KARL BARTOS fitted perfectly to the venue. The DASA presents objects of the world of work from the past up to now. The DASA offers guidance, workshops for groups, viewings but you can also explore this place on your own. On occasion of the new exhibition “Robots - the relationship between people and the machine”, the concert of KARL BARTOS was the proper opener. The show took place in a huge factory hall where you could even find an old tram standing.

Kraftwerk – 3D Show
With the 3D show the band toured several cities. On this evening the show took place at the Palladium in Cologne. The show, like all the others already before, was sold out and a very long queue was standing outside. As the tickets were personalised and checks took longer than usually it took a while to get in. Every visitor was handed a 3D glasses in an envelope with the bands logo. Needless to say that the place was really crowded.

Nightwish
NIGHTWISH is probably the most well-known band from Finland, together with other acts such as APOCALYPTICA and HIM. The band released the latest album ‘Endless Forms Most Beautiful’ on March 27th, 2015 and that naturally became the core of the massive show that kicked out the current global tour on November 13th in Espoo, Finland. The record earlier topped the charts in Finland and Czech Republic and is recognized as one of the band's best work. The album's peculiarity is also in its super-long composition ‘The Greatest Show on Earth’ lasting 24 minutes, that was also partially performed on the gig. http://www.nightwish.com / https://www.facebook.com/nightwish

Mono Inc. & Stoneman
Saturday, 14th of November, 2015 – the day after the unfathomably awful and pointless incidents in Paris. I’m sure that I was not the only one which thought about going to a concert that day or better not. Indeed, it would also be an evening with friends and wonderful music and thus I made my way to the Backstage in Munich.
