Midge Ure & India Electric Co - Breathe Again Tour
An artist like MIDGE URE, who has had so much success in the music business for such a long time now, working with many well-known bands like VISAGE, ULTRAVOX and of course the BAND AID project and gaining many awards over the years, does need little introduction. 20 years after the release of his very successful fourth solo album ‘Breathe’ in 1995, he revisits his Celtic roots, displayed in these songs by presenting all of them live on stage again. The date of the first show of his tour in Germany was also the release date of his new live album ‘Breathe Again: Live and Extended’, which was recorded in Scotland in May this year.

IAMX – Metanoia Tour
IAMX is an electro project founded by mastermind Chris Corner in 2004 in London which has undergone many different transformations, especially in the line-up. Nowadays, the German Janine Gezang (synths, bass, vocals) and the two Americans Jon Siren (drums) and Sammi Doll (synths, vocals) accompany Chris Corner on his tour through the anxieties and pleasures of humankind. As already mentioned in our preview, IAMX have been absent off stage for some while due to Corner's critical health. That's why the excitement was all the greater. With their new record ‘Metanoia’ (which is Greek and means “changing one's mind”) in tow they graced Cologne's Essigfabrik on a mild November night on 4th November 2015. http://www.iamxmusic.com / https://www.facebook.com/IAMXOFFICIAL

Susanne Sundfør & Apothek
The Gretchen Club in Berlin Kreuzberg is already well-filled half an hour before the start of the concert. Primarily twentysomethings to late thirties, who have come to see the avant-garde-pop-show of SUSANNE SUNDFØR from Norway. For the second time this year the 29-year old Singer/ Songwriter played in Berlin. The location, a rather narrow oblong room with columns and ornate ceilings is so well stocked with about 400 guests that it was cozy. The stage is small, there was no stage pit, so that the concert had a very intimate atmosphere for both the people in the front row as well as the musicians.

XIII. Století
When I was living in Ukraine, in 2000s it was quite fancy when someone from my friends was bringing some new or pirated CDs with kind of “our” - means gothic - music. That’s how I, in 2004, got my first XIII. STOLETI CD ‘Ztraceni V Karpatech’ (Eng. ‘Lost in the Carpathians’) as a gift from my good friend, who was every Castle Party festival-visitor. Dark and all-about-vampires lyrics, charming guitars, deep gothic-rock melodies, very understandable for me Czech language and, of course, the main song ‘Elizabeth’ that stuck so deeply and hard in my heart and mind. I was up to my eyes in this band. Time a little passed by and my second visit of Castle Party festival in Poland gave me a great chance to listen to this band on stage... and that was a marvellous experience! But my feelings told me that I should try more intimate version of their concerts - in some smaller venue.

Editors & The Twilight Sad
By chance I had the opportunity to see the EDITORS finally live. A lot of my friends were also very excited to see them perform. And apparently a lot of people were eager of seeing the band live, too, coming from all over Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, and thus it was no wonder that the show was sold-out. As the big crowd was just too much for me on that evening I preferred to stay close to one of the doors. Thus I couldn’t see so good what was going on on stage but probably I wouldn’t have been able to see more amongst the crowd anyway as I’m not that tall.
