Kite
It is no secret that I see a lot of concerts every month. And it is getting harder and harder to impress me with a show. KITE from Sweden is a band that perfectly manages to blow me away. Their show at this year’s NCN was my favourite one of the whole festival and it was for sure I had to see them on their first ever tour through Germany. My show to go was Oberhausen where the band played at nice Zentrum Altenberg.

While in the nearby arena IMAGINE DRAGONS were playing a big show in front of several thousands of people, at the Kulttempel was a much cozier concert scheduled: Slovenian TORUL, who were present on several festivals in summer, were now on a little headliner tour to promote their current record, ‘The Measure’. Morrissey
Last year I had the chance to see MORRISSEY for the first time live. Many of us were quite alarmed when we learned about his health issues due to having cancer, which forced him to cancel some of his shows. Recently I watched his first in-person interview for 10 years at the Larry King Now show and was relieved to hear him say that he is doing well on medical treatment and described his health condition as blooming. And talking about depression he declared that he feels happy when performing. So being on stage is a kind of his therapy. Thus he can make us happy with his concerts.

Peter Heppner – Acoustic
Once again PETER HEPPNER was touring with his acoustic set. The last show of this tour took place at the beautiful Gloria, a cinema with a rich tradition, formerly used as a cinema and theatre. Nowadays parties and concerts take also place. The seated show was nearly sold out. Again he was supported by his approved team of Dirk Riegner (piano, keyboards), Carsten Klatte (acoustic guitar) and Achim Färber (drums)

28th to 30th August 2015
Infest 2015 with Project Pitchfork, mind.in.a.box, L’âme Immortelle, Empirion, Monolith, Klangstabil, Cocksure, Syrian, BhamBhamHara, Chant, Ethan Fawkes, readjust, Mechanical Cabaret, D-K-A-G, AlterRed, Ctrl Alt Del
Infest 2015 was my first concert in the UK. It felt more like going to a comfortable all-weekend nightclub more than an actual concert. All modern conveniences were readily available with very reasonably priced student accommodation. The concerts itself were walking distance from the student accommodation which made it a bit luxurious.
