Apocalyptica & Tracer
If you have ever seen APOCALYPTICA live on stage you know that their shows are real fun. It is crazy to see them bang their heads and shake their hair to metal songs while playing the cello. The tour along to the release of the band’s latest album, ‘Shadowmaker’, was originally planned for spring but was postponed to autumn. Finally, the time had come to see the band live in Cologne, where they were supported by Australian TRACER.

Stahlmann
Time is flying really fast and about two weeks have passed since our “concert debut” in Russia. So after collecting all the pieces and thoughts I think the best word to describe the event will be “crazy”, totally crazy however in a good way, which even started with the first autumn snow. But let’s speak about everything in its turn. On the 9th and 11th of October, all Russian fans of good German music had a chance to enjoy live shows of gothic/ industrial metal band STAHLMANN. The support acts, namely LAUFDERZEIT in St. Petersburg and CHAOS RISING in Moscow also did their best to rock both venues and definitely deserve to be commended for good stuff and professionalism. The latter one also presented their debut album ‘Tief in mir’ with songs in Russian, German and English, actually worth listening to. But the most interesting part began afterwards and that was really the audience awaited.

Frozen Plasma & X-Divide
It was a cold October night when we made our way to Oberhausen to attend the shows of X-DIVIDE and FROZEN PLASMA. We didn’t expect so many people to be around as there were shows of VNV NATION and DAF nearby, but we got quite surprised. FROZEN PLASMA advertised this show to be the longest in their history – and it was a really long show indeed. If you weren't there or attended one of the other concerts, please read this review and maybe start to be a bit jealous of what we and the audience had, compare it to the show you have seen or simply hope that both bands will repeat such an evening.

‘Breakfast In America World Tour with ROGER HODGSON - The Legendary Voice Of SUPERTRAMP’
Roger Hodgson, formerly of SUPERTRAMP, & band were celebrating the 40th anniversary of the ‘Crime of the Century’ album. Roger Hodgson became known and famous as the legendary voice of SUPERTRAMP and composer of the biggest hits of this band; songs like ‘It's Raining Again’, ‘Give a Little Bit’, ‘Dreamer’, ‘Breakfast In America’ or ‘School’ were written by him. While Roger was in the lead with the band, SUPERTRAMP sold over 60 million albums and became a global phenomenon in rock music. Since 1984, Roger Hodgson is active as a successful solo artist and on his extensive tours he is playing both the songs from his own solo albums, but, of course, he is also interpreting all the big hits which were once composed, texted and interpret by him as a co-founder of the band SUPERTRAMP. http://www.rogerhodgson.com / https://www.facebook.com/rogerhodgson

Antimatter & The Whispering
Two or three years ago I had the pleasure to see ANTIMATTER live for the first time as acoustic set with Mick Moss on the acoustic guitar accompanied by VIC ANSELMO, who lend her voice for the backing vocals on the album ‘Fear of a unique identity‘, on keyboards. Now I was eager to see him perform with a complete live band.
