3rd July 2021
Rome Burns and Stella Wembley
Back to concert business. ROME BURNS played in Leeds, UK, on July 3rd, 2021. They were supported by newcomer STELLA WEMBLEY. It was great to be back in a real club with a real concert after long months of nothing… This was a Covid socially distanced event though, seated only. The UK public seems to be very cautious upon the return to more freedom, however the limited capacity was sold out tonight.

The Liquid Engineers
THE LIQUID ENGINEERS are an evolution of the GARY NUMAN tribute that Pat Martin has successfully toured around the country for some time. Over the years he has finely tuned the presentation with some fantastic Numan inspired stage sets and mimicking the many classic Numan postures and performing characteristics from the differing eras. Pat has always proudly provided something a little more than the average tribute band, for example he doesn’t just stick to the staple diet classics and hits. Quite the opposite, he has always covered a huge array of songs from throughout the decades including some very obscure tracks that Numan has long forgotten about. A natural progression for him in his quest of perfection was to create a full band. I’m pleased to say that this gig was the first with a full live band.

Diary of Dreams - Open Air 2021
After DIARY OF DREAMS had already played two full open air shows at the Parkbühne Leipzig last year in accordance with Corona-regulations, they returned to the Clara-Zetkin-Park in 2021 to play another sold-out concert. In addition to their current album ‘hell in Eden’, the men around front man Adrian Hates also brought a pot full of songs from over 25 years of band history. It has now been around 500 concerts in almost 40 countries since the first note from the “Diary of Dreams” sounded, and there is no end in sight. Everyone who knows this band knows about their achievements, created by none other than Adrian Hates - founder, singer and centre of the band, calling himself a creative pessimist. We owe this epic, dark, graceful, dramatic, fragile and extremely detailed music to his dark side and his creative handling of it. DIARY OF DREAMS currently is Adrian Hates, Dejan Nikolic, Hilger Tintel and Felix Wunderer.

Michael Monroe with Sami Yaffa & Linde Lindström
When I entered Allas Sea Pool to attend the MICHAEL MONROE show in their yard, I realized that his show at TBA Suvilathi in August 2020 had been my last outdoor show last year. On Friday SAMI YAFFA had released his first solo single ‘The Last Time’ from the new and coming album and it turned out to be a good song to get ready for a promising summer season.

Lisa Morgenstern @ KunstFestSpiele
When concert venues closed in Germany back in March 2020 only few people expected that the shutdown would last for such a long time. However, things develop into the right direction and after months without any concerts and festival there is an opportunity to attend gigs here and there.
