Hurricane Festival 2019 Day 3 with SWMRS, Mavi Phoenix, Grossstadtgeflüster, Skinny Lister, You Me At Six, Bear’s Den, Royal Republic, The Streets, Wolfmother, Interpol, Christine And The Queens, The Cure, Foo Fighters
After the exhausting Saturday, which probably lasted until the early morning for many, and in view of the merciless sun, the festival Sunday started quietly. One also had the impression that many wanted to save their energy for the two mega gigs of the evening with THE CURE and the FOO FIGHTERS. But it was positively noticed that the setlist of the day was very feminine and so the otherwise so often lamented imbalance was better balanced.

Wolfmother
If a band is already making an effort and making their sound like it did when Rock was still towing girls and you let your hair grow wild, you don’t need a laser show and moving stage parts, a top modern hall and certainly not a horde of musicians and accompanists. WOLFMOTHER came to the A in Luxembourg City with four compact musicians and transported the audience into the heavens of heavy Rock.

The Stray Cats, The Living End, The Selector
Back in 1980 I was watching “Top Of The Pops” when a band called THE STRAY CATS, introduced by Tommy Vance, came on and performed ‘Runaway Boy’ I was mesmerised by the beat and by the moody look of the band members. The release was late November and the track stayed in the UK top 10 for four weeks.

Thom Yorke - “Anima” European Tour 2019 - Special guest: Andrea Belfi
THOM YORKE really needs no introduction. The singer, guitarist and songwriter of RADIOHEAD is already well known and loved all over the world due to the legacy of his band. But maybe that’s what makes his solo appearances such an exciting experience. His last live show in Germany in June 2018, for example, was a visually and sound-aesthetically impressive Electro concert at which Yorke sang and danced to the live mix of house producer Nigel Godrich, while the artist Tarik Barri created the fascinating visuals. Various YouTube recordings testify to this unpredictable and charismatic artist constellation. Which apparently both Yorke and his fans liked very much. Because THOM YORKE has brought Godrich and Barri with him for his current tour.

The Amity Affliction - European Tour 2019 - Special guests: Polaris, Venues
“Metalcore” plus “Australia” does not always equal PARKWAY DRIVE. In fact, THE AMITY AFFLICTION from Queensland were formed in the same year (2003) as their countrymen from New South Wales, who seem to enjoy a bit of a hype run lately. THE AMITY AFFLICTION lean a little more on the melodic spectrum of the Metalcore genre, which is manifested by the two singles from their new album, ‘Misery’, which has been released end of August 2018. Fans of the band looked forward to the gig, as the band also has brought a two carefully curated support acts with them, the first fellow Australians POLARIS, and the German combo VENUES from Stuttgart.
