Hammaburg Festival 2019 with The Sisters Of Mercy, Life of Agony, Clawfinger, Emil Bulls, Lonely Spring
The weather forecasts did not look great this week but the weather gods were merciful - maybe for a reason, thinking of the headliner of this year’s Hammaburg festival. It was raining cats and dogs on Thursday and Saturday, but not on Friday, the day of the event.

Parkway Drive - “Reverence EU/UK Summer 2019” – Support: Bury Tomorrow, Venom Prison
On Monday on the menu: VENOM PRISON, BURY TOMORROW and as headliner PARKWAY DRIVE. The Metalcore band from Byron Bay have left their warm realms and are currently on their “Reverence EU/UK Summer 2019”, which will lead through several parts of Europe. So it was all the more surprising when the Australians announced their appearance in March in the small Den Atelier in the middle of Luxembourg City. And that in between of their gigs on big festivals like Wacken Open Air, Bloodstock and Summer Breeze. On Monday the PARKWAY DRIVE tour bus finally stopped, together with their two support bands in the “rue de Hollerich”.

Rocco del Schlacko 2019 Day 3 with reviews of Yungblud, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Bullet For My Valentine, The Offspring and Nura
The third, and thus the last day of the festival, was pleasant as far as the weather was concerned. The sun was shining and only a slight breeze was blowing. As usual for the last day of a festival, people seemed to be tired and a bit exhausted. Nevertheless, the atmosphere was still great.

Rocco del Schlacko 2019 Day 2 with reviews of Skindred, Donots, Von Wegen Lisbeth and Die Toten Hosen
While the first day of the festival was dominated by summer, sun and sunshine, the second day was the exact opposite. Short, strong rain showers transformed the Saarland festival Rocco del Schlacko on the second day into a wet, muddy affair - but the party mood was not affected at all. In Püttlingen, the festival people had a lot of luck, because apart from small, but heavy rain showers, which soaked you up to your underpants, the storm, which hit the southwest strongly (especially the south of Luxembourg received the unwanted visit of a tornado), passed right by the Rocco del Schlacko. So: No interruption, only a small break at the Ponyhof in the early Friday evening.
