Back in September 2020, the two Metalcore giants BURY TOMORROW and AUGUST BURNS RED announced the dates of their headliner tour across Europe. On Thursday, they did the honours in Luxembourg and transformed the Rockhal into a blazing witch’s cauldron in no time.

Alter Bridge - “Pawns & Kings Tour” - Support: Halestorm
Bursting with riffs, ALTER BRIDGE were working hard for recording their seventh studio album, ‘Pawns & Kings’, the follow-up to the highly acclaimed, 2019-released ‘Walk The Sky’, which brought the group the #1 spot on over a dozen charts around the globe. On the 9th of November, the Americans presented their new work at the Grand-Duchy. Joining them as special guests were Grammy-winning rockers HALESTORM. The esteemed Pennsylvanian powerhouse released their blistering new album ‘Back From The Dead’ on the 6th of May, which includes their single, ‘The Steeple’. The performance of HALESTORM, who are known for their captivating live music, in combination with ALTER BRIDGE was certainly an unforgettable experience.

Opeth - “Evolution XXX” Tour - Support: Voivod
For three decades, OPETH have been among the most impressive and exciting protagonists of the Scandinavian Rock and Heavy Metal scene. Excursions to artistic fringes go hand in hand with steadily growing success. This was also evident in the album ‘In Cauda Venenum’, released in 2019, which entered the top 10 of the international album charts. The band then worked on equally extraordinary shows to celebrate their 30th anniversary. Due to the corona pandemic, this had to be postponed several times, but the band will play now three of these special concerts in Berlin, Wiesbaden and Wuppertal in autumn 2022.

Laibach - “The Coming Race Tour”
As always it is a once in a lifetime experience when you visit a LAIBACH concert. Well, it is not really a concert it is more a live art performance; a light and sound installation. After so many years I visited many LAIBACH performances and it was always a different experience. This is what drives me forward to continue with my concert photography. As long as there is a chance to photograph. As long as there’s a chance to photograph a LAIBACH performance I won’t lay my camera aside.
