tempelhofsounds logoThe acclaimed formation around singer-songwriter FLORENCE WELCH is coming to Berlin: With FLORENCE + THE MACHINE, alongside MUSE and THE STROKES, all three headliners have been confirmed for the festival premiere at Tempelhof Airport. With this announcement, the organizers are also confirming 16 more top-class acts that will be performing at Tempelhof Sounds from June 10 to 12, 2022.

FLORENCE WELCH is an exceptional artist, because the front woman of the legendary and constantly changing formation FLORENCE + THE MACHINE can belt out baroque arias, growl Punk lyrics or whisper gentle hymns. Her voice is just as versatile and extraordinary as her live shows, which fans consistently describe as a transcendent experience. Their show, set against the historic backdrop of Tempelhof Airport, will be just as special, and an experience that cannot be measured in chart-topping or Grammy nominations - FLORENCE + THE MACHINE has to be seen live to understand the true power and meaning of their artistry be able.

Also announced are MAXȈMO PARK, JOHNOSSI and BALTHAZAR, three Indie greats from Great Britain, Sweden and Belgium. The Belarusian Dark Wave trio MOLCHAT DOMA enriches the line-up with sinister sounds, BARNS COURTNEY with powerful Folk Rock and L’IMPÉRATRICE with Electro Pop, Disco and Soul. With FAYE WEBSTER another young and innovative Folk voice has been confirmed, the Canadian Alternative duo CLEOPATRICK will hit harder tones as usual.

The Indie Rock innovators PALE WAVES are also looking forward to their performance, as are the Viennese supergroup MY UGLY CLEMENTINE and the powerful-voiced Scottish singer-songwriter BOW ANDERSON. MIDDLE KIDS arrive from Australia, whose name stands for high-quality Indie Rock, not only in Down Under. TOGETHER PANGEA have also made a name for themselves in the Alternative genre, which the Post Punkers of TALK SHOW can also claim for themselves. With the singer and multi-instrumentalist TRIXIE WHITLEY and the Indie formation BILBAO, two more exciting names have been confirmed for the line-up, to which soon a few more acts will be added.
