After the first band announcements have been so well received, we are not starting to keep anything from you. So we are very excited to already announce our first headliner for 2010 and not less than 6 additional bands.
First headliner at the Amphi Festival 2010 – AND ONE
Dreamgirls and technomen, be prepared for the ultimate party at the Tanzbrunnen because AND ONE are confirmed to be our first headliner for 2010! As a merciless dance commando Steve Naghavi and his crew like to provoke and to polarize, while they still manage to stay as charming and bold, to get away with it every time. The indistinguishable dynamics of AND ONE unfold on stage, where the trio unleashes its irresistible power, always in for a suprise! And this time it´s going to be major!
More bands confirmed for the Amphi Festival 2010
Our next arrival not merely wrote the most beautiful song in the world, but also marks a class of its own: LETZTE INSTANZ. Like no other band the septet blends modern rock and folk influences with symphonic elements to a full-grown live-spectacle that touches you deeply and takes you away.
Aside from rock orientated sounds there´s of course more food for you electroheads out there with Chris Pohls MISS CONSTRUCTION. „Miss Construction is sick. Miss Construction is heavy and unconditionally electronic. Miss Construction is out for a dance!“, as the creator judges his work. Whoever stands left in doubt the father of Blutengel wouldn´t able to sound truly evil, should catch him live, to be utterly convinced by a brutal reality.
And the martial trip goes on. In record-breaking time Thomas Rainer´s Industrial-Projekt NACHTMAHR evolved from an insider´s tipp to a downright floorfiller, literally releasing an avalanche, thrusting the Austrian directly to the top of the German Alternative Charts. Electronical and harsh – Nachtmahr is a musical war on the dancefloor as the „Tanzdiktator“ commands obedience!
That they know about gritty electro sounds close to the German coast as well was proven more than once by the Hamburg based producer FADERHEAD. Thanks to a successful label change the third Faderhead album „FH3“ was finally released last autumn and spawned none less than the club grenade of the year with the monster-hit „TZDV“. The party continues when Faderhead will rock the house at the Amophi Festival 2010! – Get ready to “Tanz! Zwo, drei, vier!“
Likeable and unworried ASHBURY HEIGHTS make a perfect example for how to move the synth sound of the 80´s into the new millennium in a fresh and original way. Blended with modern elements Anders H. and Kari Berg not only stand for a fresh breeze on the dancefloor. After Ashbury Heights completed the Amphi line-up two years ago as a sensational newcomer, we are glad to announce the Swedes for a glorious return at the Amphi Festival 2010.
