Due to the ongoing pandemic situation, the KIEFER SUTHERLAND concerts in February 2022 cannot take place. In the new tour period, which was scheduled for October 2022, all concerts can be made up for. In recent years, however, SUTHERLAND has focused on applying his master storytelling skills to music, with two acclaimed country and Americana albums. His second album ‘Reckless & Me’ proved particularly popular in the UK, debuting at number 9 on the Official Albums Chart and going straight to number 1 on the Americana, Country and Independent Albums Chart. ‘Reckless & Me’ became the second best-selling country album of the year. On January 21st, KIEFER SUTHERLAND released his third album ‘Bloor Street’ via Cooking Vinyl.
KIEFER SUTHERLAND commented: “Writing and recording this album has been a unique experience given the pandemic and the restrictions it has brought. I found myself, like so many, in a period of time never before available to me, one that allowed me not only to reflect on my life but also to write about it. Music, live or recorded, has always been a personal extension of storytelling for me. The album was produced and mixed by multiple Grammy winner Chris Lord-Alge (Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood) and recorded at MIX LA Studios in Los Angeles. The “Chasing The Rain Tour 2022”, his biggest headline tour to date, will now bring him to Europe with a full band line-up in autumn 2022 and to Germany for five concerts. The British newspaper The Guardian writes of his shows: “The action star's whiskey-infused country music set is truly poignant.”
