Whitechapel - “Hymns over Europe” - Co-Headliner: Northlane
Following the huge success of their latest album ‘Hymns in Dissonance’ (released 7 March 2025), WHITECHAPEL have announced a highly anticipated European tour for this summer. The US metal band will play major festivals as well as headlining club shows across Europe, including selected co-headlining dates with Australian metalcore greats NORTHLANE.
Fans can look forward to WHITECHAPEL’s usual uncompromising stage presence. ‘Hymns in Dissonance’ is brought to life live with full force - intense, brutal and full of energy. The new album is currently storming the international charts and once again cements the band's status as one of the dominant forces in modern metal.
With their unique blend of brutal riffs, complex arrangements and dark lyrics, WHITECHAPEL once again explore the extremes of heavy music. ‘Hymns in Dissonance’ finds the band at their darkest and most uncompromising. “We wanted to make our heaviest album yet”, explains guitarist Alex Wade. “We wanted it to be menacing, shocking and brutal.”
Formed in 2006 in Knoxville, Tennessee, WHITECHAPEL are now one of the most influential names in deathcore and modern metal. With each release, they continue to develop their sound and expand their worldwide fan base. While the new album follows ‘Kin’ (2021) in chronological order, it is a continuation of ‘This Is Exile’ in terms of content, as reflected in the three-word title ‘Hymns in Dissonance’.
