Hailing from Orange County, California, DAYSEEKER has become a dominant force in the Melodic Post-Hardcore scene. Known for the visceral, soul-baring vocals of Rory Rodriguez, the band has masterfully evolved from their heavy roots into a genre-bending sound that blends Synth-Pop, Rock, and Metalcore.
Their journey began with the emotive foundation of ‘What It Means to Be Defeated’ and ‘Origin’, before reaching a conceptual breakthrough with ‘Dreaming Is Sinking /// Waking Is Rising’. The band saw a definitive shift toward their signature “neon-noir” aesthetic with the 2019 release of ‘Sleeptalk’, followed by the deeply personal exploration of grief found on ‘Dark Sun’. They arrive in Oberhausen in support of their latest studio triumph, ‘Creature In The Black Night’, which explores the darker, atmospheric textures that define this current tour.
