17 Hippies
They’re back!!! The true German ambassadors are about to take Bochum into their own musical El Dorado. After 15 years with over 1.500 concerts in 20 countries, these tireless Berlin-based musicians with their distinctive style have established themselves and developed to a true Rock-the-World Orchestra. But what kind of music do the 17 HIPPIES play anyway? “What we do is dance music in the end” says a statement of the band. But the 17 HIPPIES don’t do simple dancing music, but impress with their unique compositions and clever arrangements marked with east European sounds, American rock and British pop. Together with their English, French and German lyrics they reveal themselves as first class world citizens that will - especially at their live performances - provide for breathtaking moments and with their energy carry the audience away.
