After the news that Trent Reznor is planning to split up the Nine Inch Nails live band, after the release of the upcoming remix album "Year Zero Remixed" that is, he now announces that Nine Inch Nails have parted ways with their long-time record label, and are now what he calls "free agents". On the band's website http://www.nin.com/ Reznor posted the following message:I've waited a long time to be able to make the following announcement: as of right now Nine Inch Nails is a totally free agent, free of any recording contract with any label. I have been under recording contracts for 18 years and have watched the business radically mutate from one thing to something inherently very different and it gives me great pleasure to be able to finally have a direct relationship with the audience as I see fit and appropriate.

Swedish Goth Rock band Funhouse will release the new EP “Don’t Wanna Know Me” on the 29:th of October!"Don’t Wanna Know Me" is a perfect first single for us says the band. It takes the sound from our last album, Flames of Love, into the future. Don’t Wanna Know Me is an up-tempo rock song with that typical Funhouse “hit single” feeling in the chorus. As drummer Jonas says: “You can really hear that the song was written by the whole band jamming. It is a special live feeling over that track that I think is quite rare in the gothic scene. And we really wanted to capture that sound during the recordings.”

One of the most well loved bands to sign with Metropolis in 2005 was Mindless Self Indulgence (MSI), a band whose name manifests itself during their incendiary live shows. Their music is a hybrid of Atari driven electronics with a venomous splash of ADD Punk Rock. In the vein of their cult classic records such as Frankenstein Girls Will Seem Strangely Sexy, MSI and Metropolis Records proudly released You’ll Rebel to Anything. This newly remastered version contains tracks previously only found originally on the clean and vinyl versions, as well as two bonus tracks - including the previously unreleased live version of the fan favorite “Wack” (recorded at the bands legendary three night stand at NYC’s Webster Hall), and “Make Me Cum” from the unreleased “Pink” album - and a live video for their classic song , “Molly.”- RAMMSTEIN - listed on the index?
