Swiss Folk Metallers ELUVEITIE have signed a deal with Nuclear Blast. Check out the following statement from the band: "Great news we have for you these days! San Francisco Bay Area Thrash metallers TESTAMENT have set "The Formation of Damnation" as the title of their new album, tentatively due in early 2008. The band is currently recording the drum tracks with producer Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, EXODUS) at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, California. The drums are overtaken by drumlegend Pual Bostaph (ex-SLAYER, EXODUS), as former drummer Nick Barker (ex-DIMMU BORGIR, CRADLE OF FILTH) had to step down from the job due to visa problems. Noisescape TV, a bimonthly music program in San Francisco, has posted an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the filming of the upcoming Einsturzende Neubauten video, "Nagorny Karabach" (see above for a preview). A longer version of this behind-the-scenes look, featuring more never-before-seen footage, will be part of an upcoming Noisescape TV episode devoted exclusively to Einsturzende Neubauten in honor of the release of their new record, "Alles Wieder Offen". The episode will air Tuesday November 20th at 10pm in San Francisco on cable channel 29.
