One headline after the other: shortly after the release of MICHELLE DARKNESS solo album “Brand New Drug” (AFM Records) he doesn’t take a break. He appears as guest vocalist on the debut album of darklandcity’s newcomer SCRATCHED SURFACE. The album of the newcomers was recorded, produced and mixed by Ecki Erlenbusch (End Of Green, Undertow,...) in cooperation with Wolfram Lauster. On their first studio album “Nine Novembers Fall” the band accelerates und frontman Michael Babic tells: “Working with Michelle is very professional but also relaxed. For us it was great to work with the well-known singer because he has a lot of experience. Michelle Darkness, who came directly from recording his solo album in Finland, could show us our songs from another perspective. We could learn a lot and furthermore we evolved a stronger bandfeeling. All things conidered it was a fantastic time in the studio.”

VS ALIENS VS PREDATOR 2 means: Cult meets Cult on a whole new level. This time the beasts meet right in the middle of a small town. The spaceship of the predators crashes in the woods of Colorado. The crash was caused by a new living being: The Predalien. A mixture of Predator and Alien. Together with the aliens it invades the city until they are obstructed by a Predator with special abilities. The Super-predator. The ultimate battle begins...

We just received the news that STURM UND DRANG reached Gold status in Finland with their album ‘Learning to Rock’. The album is already in stores since August and also their tour as support of APOCALYPTICA was very successful.For the devoted fans among you, there will be a special surprise this week. One of you will get an early Christmas present. Everyone who participated at the E-Card campaign, still has to be curious. We will shortly announce the winner of the 500,- EUR for the rehearsal room rent.

On the 5th & 6th July 2008 a new event called Blackfield Festival takes place for the first time at the grandiose and already festival proved Amphitheatre in Gelsenkirchen and comes up with a consistent concept, fair prices and a exciting line-up.With NITZER EBB promoters could engage pioneers of electronic music as headliner, who will present songs from the new album for the first time there. LACRIMOSA also confirmed their appearance. SCHANDMAUL and SUBWAY TO SALLY enchant their audience for years now with their mixture of rock, combined with medieval respectively classic instruments. The last releases of both bands entered the Media Control Charts at the Top Ten. But also the other already named bands promise a great live experience and round off a felicitous festival program, that will come up with more surprises in the next months and will lure fans from all directions to Gelsenkirchen.
