LAIBACH have announced details of a new album, ‘Wir sind das Volk (ein Musical aus Deutschland)’, due out on Mute on 25 March as a deluxe CD with extensive sleeve notes, and digitally - with the double vinyl following on 10 June 2022. The album collates music from the acclaimed theatrical production ‘Wir sind das Volk’ (“We are the People”), which premiered at Hebbel am Ufer (HAU) theatre in Berlin on 8 Feb 2020. - Details

As NINA HAGEN last published a new piece in September 2020 with ‘Unity’, the next title will be released on January 28th, 2022. It goes by the name ‘Shadrack’ and is nothing less than a kind of Electrofunk Gospel, erratic and straight forward at the same time, as only Nina Hagen can do. Nina Hagen says: “Throughout my lifetime on earth I have observed over and over again how unfortunately all too many people do not waste a ‘bit’ of time working for a more socially just world, being idolized by excessive wealth, money and property, are downright obsessed with it and don’t give a damn about the ‘big picture’, about eternal life, about the dimension that will follow the present one.”- Details

The Hamburg band THE JEREMY DAYS announce their first new album in 27 years for March 25, 2022. ‘Beauty in Broken’ will be the group’s first re-release since 1995 at eleven songs and will be released on the band’s Circushead Records label. The first pre-single of the same name, along with a video, will be released on January 28, 2022.

With ‘The Girls Are Fighting’, BLOC PARTY will release the second track on Friday, January 28th, 2022 from their sixth studio album ‘Alpha Games’ (Infectious / BMG), which will follow on April 29. ‘Alpha Games’ is the band’s first studio album since their 2016 long-player ‘Hymns’. The band continues their return to their classic sound with the new song, which follows the rather rough and loud ‘Traps’ from November last year. In ‘The Girls Are Fighting’, Kele Okereke recounts a night when everything went so badly wrong: “And the bouncer also made a film of it and uploaded it to Worldstar. There’s blood all over the dance floor, hairpieces on the bar.”- Details

TEMPERS present ‘Nightwalking’, their new single from their upcoming album ‘New Meaning’, which will be released on April 1, 2022 via DAIS. Singer Jasmine Golestaneh says about the track: “I took a lot of long walks at a time when people had abruptly vacated NYC, and left the remnants of their homes on the sidewalks. The city’s landscape became very surreal - a ghost town turned inside out. I was thinking about how to stay open, and embrace life derailed. The sky over the city was a real source of mystery, in its own world of pink sunsets, and sparkling nights. The contrast of that oblivious beauty amidst the pandemic chaos felt very special, and inspired the song.”- KEITH RICHARDS - The Rock icon’s second solo album “Main Offender” will be released on March 18 as a special deluxe box set and in other formats via BMG
