MARTIN GARRIX is once again confirmed for the headlining squad of the events from June 17 to 19, and K.I.Z is new at the top, who now together WITH KINGS OF LEON, RISE AGAINST, SEEED, DEICHKIND, THE KILLERS and TWENTY ONE PILOTS cite the billing. DERMOT KENNEDY, TONES AND I, SAM FENDER, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and JC STEWART also want to see their fans again after two years without Hurricane and Southside and have again announced themselves for long-awaited shows in Scheeßel and Neuhausen ob Eck.

The EELS’ 13th album was called ‘Earth To Dora’ and was released last fall. Actually, the timing was perfect - because all the crap with lockdown and closure started all over again. And Mark Oliver Everett's music was always on good consolation in dark times, because this man himself had to traverse many dark valleys - and made great art out of them, which also allowed sadness, but always cushioned it with irresistible melodies, strong poetry and / or good humour.

IRON MAIDEN today unveiled their brand-new track, ‘The Writing On The Wall’, in a highly anticipated worldwide YouTube video premiere. After the Wacken Open Air had to be postponed again due to the corona pandemic, the organizers can announce today that there will be no regular advance sales for the W:O:A 2022. Over 95% of fans decided to keep their ticket during the exchange process. The few remaining tickets for the festival from August 4th to 8th, 2022, for which JUDAS PRIEST, SLIPKNOT, TILL LINDEMANN and many other acts have already been confirmed, will be raffled on a waiting list.

Thanks to low incidences, ongoing vaccination campaigns and numerous test options, this prospect is currently within reach - and thus allows culture to return to the stage.
