Dear Metalheads, yesterday, the German government decided that due to the Corona virus pandemic, no mass gatherings will be allowed until August, 31st 2020. Wacken is facing an unpresented situation in our 30 years: It is with heavy hearts that promoters have to announce that there will be no Wacken Open Air this year.The whole team has been working intensively on the festival these last months and the more all of them are bitterly disappointed that they are not allowed to celebrate a Wacken Open Air with you. This administrative order affects them heavily and they will need some time to process the bad news.

The FKP Scorpio festival summer is cancelled because of the Corona pandemic. Due to the nationwide ban on events until August 31, 2020, the Elbjazz, Limestone, Hurricane, Southside, Deichbrand, Highfield and M’era Luna festivals must also be cancelled. FKP Scorpio welcomes this decision as an understandable and important security measure for the population and is already doing everything possible to ensure smooth visitor communication.- Details

Multi-platinum Hard Rock titans GODSMACK have released the video for their new hit single ‘Unforgettable’ from their latest smash album ‘When Legends Rise’ (Spinefarm). With music programs continuing to be at risk in schools across the country, it was important for the band - Sully Erna [vocals, guitar], Tony Rombola [guitar], Robbie Merrill [bass] and Shannon Larkin [drums] - to make a video about the power of music to uplift lives.
