Dear festival friends. After what felt like an eternity, Summer Breeze team now finally has the opportunity to communicate an official cancellation to their fans and to provide them with extensive options for their purchased tickets by the end of the month. Here’s the official statement:

“It hurts but as of today we finally have certainty: According to recently announced COVID-19 regulations by the German government, SUMMER BREEZE Open Air 2020 cannot take place and has to be cancelled.

ALL artists from this year are moving into the next one! The 25th edition is now increasing from August 12th to August 15th, 2021. Tickets bought so far for the 2020 edition remain valid.

The Taubertal Festival has already existed for two and a half decades. Festival fans have to wait a year longer for the 25th birthday, which should have taken place from 7 to 9 August 2020. However, there is now good news: ALL artists who have been confirmed for this year are moving into the new year! The line-up will therefore take place exactly one year later in exactly the same form. “We are very happy and thank you very much,” the organizers are pleased about it.

It is one of the most important albums in the history of Pop music and shows one of the most iconic covers. On July 17th, JOY DIVISION’s second album, ‘Closer’, will be released in the 40th Anniversary Edition. It follows the re-issue of the ground-breaking debut album ‘Unknown Pleasures’, which was released last year, and appears on crystal-clear, transparent vinyl. In addition to the LP release, the non-album singles ‘Transmission’, ‘Atmosphere’ and ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’ with remastered audio from 2020 will be released on the same day. Since the closure of Factory Records, these singles have not been reprinted or re-released and now appear on 180-gram vinyl with the original artwork on sturdy heavyweight cardboard. ‘Transmission’ appears in a case with a raised embossing.
